Moreover, in peening applications, steel shot is instrumental in imparting compressive strength to torque or load-bearing components such as crankshafts, engine turbine blades, and heavy-duty springs.
 

Applications:
Utilizing smaller steel shot results in a smoother and more polished surface, while larger shot cleans more aggressively but yields a rougher texture. Both air-powered and wheel-blast systems are effective in propelling the steel shot onto the part's surface. Thanks to the inherent hardness and density of steel shot, it boasts a remarkable recyclability, capable of being reused up to 3000 times before needing replacement.
