APPLICATIONS
Garnet sand finds extensive use in a multitude of applications such as polishing glass screens, single crystal silicon, and optical lenses. It is also highly effective in rust removal, sandblasting, and water jet cutting. PRODUCTION PROCESS
Extraction:
Mining: Garnet sand is sourced from either alluvial deposits or mined from hard rock formations, with the method determined by the garnet deposit type. Alluvial mining involves washing and screening, while hard rock mining requires drilling, blasting, and crushing techniques.

Crushing and Grinding:
Primary Crushing: The garnet ore undergoes primary crushing to break it into smaller fragments using jaw crushers or gyratory crushers.
Secondary Crushing: The process continues with further crushing using cone or impact crushers to achieve the required granular size.

Separation:
Screening: The crushed material is screened to separate valuable garnet particles from waste rock. This involves using vibrating screens or sieves to precisely classify the particles by size.
Gravity Separation: Methods like jigging or spiral concentration are employed to distinguish garnet from lighter impurities based on density differences.
