APPLICATIONS
Garnet sand finds extensive use in the polishing of glass screens, single crystal silicon, and optical lenses. It's perfect for rust and paint removal through sandblasting or water jet cutting. As an abrasive media, it is adept at eliminating rust, paint, and corrosion, making it suitable for metal, brick, concrete, and masonry applications.

PRODUCTION PROCESS
Extraction:
Mining: Garnet sand is sourced from alluvial deposits or mined from solid rock formations, with the mining method tailored to the deposit type. Alluvial mining involves washing and screening, while hard rock mining requires drilling, blasting, and crushing.

Crushing and Grinding:
Primary Crushing: Initially, the garnet ore is broken down into smaller pieces using jaw crushers or gyratory crushers.
Secondary Crushing: Further reduction in size is achieved with cone crushers or impact crushers to meet specific size requirements.

Separation:
Screening: The crushed garnet is screened to segregate garnet particles from waste rock, employing vibrating screens or sieves for precise size classification.
