APPLICATIONS
Garnet sand finds extensive use in the polishing of glass screens, single crystal silicon, and optical lenses. It excels in rust sandblasting and waterjet cutting. As a versatile sandblasting abrasive media, it is primarily employed to remove rust, paint, and corrosion. PRODUCTION PROCESS
Extraction:
Mining: Garnet sand is procured from alluvial deposits or mined from robust rock formations. The mining method varies with the garnet deposit type. Alluvial mining involves the washing and screening of deposits, while hard rock mining entails drilling, blasting, and crushing.

Crushing and Grinding:
Primary Crushing: The garnet ore is initially broken down into smaller pieces using jaw or gyratory crushers.
Secondary Crushing: The material is further reduced in size using cone or impact crushers to achieve the desired granularity.

Separation:
Screening: The crushed material undergoes screening to isolate garnet particles from waste rock. This procedure utilizes vibrating screens or sieves to sort particles by size.
Gravity Separation: Techniques like jigging or spiral concentration leverage density differences to separate garnet from lighter impurities.
